Sunny Beach restaurants caters for all tastes ranging from traditional local dishes to pizzas, burgers, fajitas and a good old English breakfast. Enjoy a decadent night at Hanska Shatra or a civilised coffee with a home-made pastry on the terrace of the Victoria Hotel. The fish restaurants in the ancient harbour town of Nesebar, 3km (2 miles) south, are a little quieter, with a more traditional ambience.

Popular bars include an African-style Makalali Club which is along the beach, and larger bars and clubs include the Mexican Bar with karaoke, the huge club Lazur which has lasers and a poolside terrace.
